Server Log Files

In order to optimize this website in terms of system performance, user friendliness, and the provision of useful information about our services, the website provider automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files, which are automatically communicated to us by your browser. This information includes your internet protocol address (IP address), browser and language settings, operating system, referrer URL, your internet service provider, and the date/time.  This data is stored temporarily until it is automatically deleted (after 30 days). This processing is based on a legitimate interest and takes place for the above-mentioned reasons.

A combination of this data with person-related data sources does not take place. We retain the right to check this data retrospectively if we are made aware of concrete indications of unlawful use.

Cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that are automatically created by your browser and saved on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, or similar) when you visit our site. The cookie contains information, which is generated in connection with the specifically used device. However, this does not mean that it gives us direct knowledge of your identity.

On the one hand, the use of cookies enables us to make your use of our site more agreeable. For example, we use so-called session cookies in order to be able to recognize that you have already visited individual pages of our website. When you leave our site these are automatically deleted.

In addition to this, we also optimize user friendliness by using temporary cookies, which are saved on your device for a certain defined period. If you visit our site again in order to take advantage of our services, the site automatically recognizes that you have already visited us and recalls your settings and the information you have already entered so that you don’t have to enter it again.

On the other hand, we use cookies in order to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate this information so that we can optimize our offering to you (e.g. Google Analytics). When you make a repeat visit to our site, these cookies enable us to recognize that you have already visited us. These cookies are automatically deleted after a defined period.

The processing of data in connection with cookies takes place on the basis of a legitimate interest (the improvement of our offering and web presence) and user consent (amongst other things through the preferences of the web browser).

Most browsers accept cookies automatically. However, you can configure your browser in such a way that no cookies are saved on your computer or a message always appears before a new cookie is created. However, the complete deactivation of cookies can lead to a situation in which you cannot use all the functions of our website.

Google Analytics

For the purpose of the demand-oriented design and continuous optimization of our pages we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereafter referred to as “Google”). In this connection, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies are used. The information about your use of this website that is generated by the cookies, such as browser type/version, used operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), host name of the accessing computer (IP address), time of the server inquiry, is transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it is saved. This information is used in order to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities, and to provide services related to the use of the website and the internet in general for the purposes of market research and of the demand-oriented design of these internet sites. This information is also passed on to third parties if this is legally permitted or if these third parties process this information on Google’s behalf. Under no circumstances will your IP address be combined with other information from Google. The IP addresses are anonymised so that they cannot be matched (IP masking). You can prevent the installation of the cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we would like to point out that, in such a case, it is possible that not all the functions of the website can be fully used. In addition to this, you can prevent both the collection of the data related to your use of the website that is generated by the cookie (including your IP address) and the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing a browser add-on (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de). As an alternative to this browser add-on, especially in the case of browsers on mobile devices, you can also prevent data collection by Google Analytics by clicking on this link. It leads to the setting of an opt-out cookie, which prevents the recording of your data during any future visit to this website. The opt-out cookie is only valid on this browser and our website and is placed on your device. If you delete the cookies in this browser, you must replace the opt-out cookie.

You can find further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics on, for example, the Google Analytics help page (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de).

Data is saved for a period of 14 months. Google LLC is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active.

The processing of data in connection with the above-mentioned cookies or analysis tools takes place on the basis of a legitimate interest (improvement of our offering and web presence) and user consent (via, amongst other things, the web browser settings).

Google Maps

We use services offered by Google Maps on our website in order to visually depict geographical information. This occurs as a result of our legitimate interest in an optimized and easily discoverable depiction of our location. Google Maps is provided by Google LLC, USA, Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, California 94043. One result of the inclusion of Google Maps is the transmission of the IP address. Google LLC is certified under the Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active. Further information about the data protection policy of Google and possible settings can be found at www.google.com/policies/privacy/.

This data (and all other information voluntarily passed on by you) will only be processed for the purposes of sending the newsletter (with customer information about the center such as product offerings, special offers, activities). Your approval establishes the legal basis for processing this data. You can end your subscription to the newsletter at any time. We will delete all your data connected with the sending of the newsletter immediately or, at the latest, upon the expiry of the period of limitation with regards to potential legal claims. You are not obliged to provide this data. If you do not provide it we cannot send you any information.

If you access a website that has such a plugin via our internet page, your browser creates a direct connection with the servers of Facebook, Instagram, or Youtube. Facebook Pixel Data Protection Declaration

On our website we use the Facebook Pixel from Facebook. For this purpose, we have implemented a code on our website. The Facebook Pixel is a section of JavaScript code, which loads a collection of functions with which Facebook can follow your user activities as long as you accessed our website via Facebook ads. If, for example, you acquire a product on our website, the Facebook Pixel is triggered and saves your activity on our website in one or more cookies. These cookies enable Facebook to compare your user data (customer data such as IP address, user ID) with the data in your Facebook account. Then Facebook deletes this data again. The data collected in this way is anonymous and inaccessible to us and is only useful in the context of posting adverts. If you yourself are a Facebook user and are logged on, your visit to our website will be automatically matched with your Facebook user account.

We only want to show our services and products to people who are really interested in them. Facebook Pixel helps us to better align our advertising activities with your wishes and interests. Hence, Facebook users (who have permitted personalized advertising) are able to see appropriate advertising. In addition to this, Facebook uses the data that it collects for the purposes of analysis and its own advertising.

Below, we show you a list of cookies that were set on a test page as a result of the integration of Facebook Pixel. Please note that these are only example cookies. Depending upon your interaction with our website, different cookies will be set.
